Passionate about a varied landscape of real estate, business, contracts, arts, intellectual property and entertainment law, Kevin Fitzgibbons continually utilizes his creative legal abilities to help clients achieve goals yielding successful results.
As a real estate broker, Kevin Fitzgibbons assembled an investment group of former COOs and CEOs of Fanny Mae and Fortune 500 companies to create and run a successful real estate firm. In that capacity, Kevin led investment teams in creating, drafting and negotiating all legal agreements for commercial, residential and land acquisitions, working with local municipal and county governments to move raw land through the entitlement process.
Over his career, Kevin has spent several decades as an entertainment executive. He previously served as an executive at Sony Music’s Columbia Records, where he led teams working with artists, managers and agents to expand brand portfolios into global notoriety. Kevin founded artist marketing firms that developed artists at commercial radio in both the US and UK. He served as executive producer on multiple Billboard chart-topping projects and produced multiple award-winning broadcast specials for PBS and Fox.
Kevin has been involved with artists such as U2, Coldplay, The Offspring, Alice in Chains, Jeff Buckley, Mariah Carey, Tony Bennett, Presidents of the United States of America, The Fugees, Lauren Hill, Cypress Hill, Neptunes, N.E.R.D., Outkast, Limp Biskit, Daft Punk, The Underworld, Sum-41, Roni Size, The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Modest Mouse, The Cars, The Cranberries, Papa Roach, Toad the Wet Sprocket, System of a Down and numerous others.
More recently, Kevin enjoyed providing general counsel services to music and production clients. In that capacity, he oversaw the business affairs of all acquisitions, and his areas of responsibility included licensing, production, distribution and publishing agreements, as well as structuring, drafting and negotiating all international licensing co-ventures with (including but not limited to) Universal Music Group Distribution and Sony Music Entertainment, CBS, ASCAP, PBS, NBC, ABC and Fox.
