Recent Practice Highlights
- Municipal Law. Assisted local cities and towns in working through difficult employment matters involving the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and compliance with requisite policies and procedures toward creating and maintaining a professional workplace.
- Business Law. Helped a family-run business form an LLC to protect the owners' personal assets and to transfer day-to-day operations from the parents to their children. The planning helped the parents have an enjoyable retirement while keeping the business in the family.
- Real Estate Law. Advised local governments in land use matters, taking into account relevant zoning laws, subdivision regulations and other policies and procedures in order to allow land to develop in a way that is beneficial to the citizens and to the land owner.
